Just-on-web gives you access to DABS, the Database of Civil Status Records. In this way you can easily request, view and download copies and extracts of civil status records. It gives you immediate access to data on birth, marriage, nationality or adoption, among other things.

What can you do here
View and download a copy or extract
You can view and instantly download data from civil status records via Just-on-Web. These include records such as birth, marriage, death, adoption, Belgian nationality and name change. Both types of documents you can choose from are free of charge and legally valid:
- copies of the original data and history (e.g. original place of residence or name and all subsequent places of residence or names);
- extracts with only current data without history (e.g. only current residence or name).
Request a copy or extract
In principle, you can request and download copies and extracts of civil status records immediately. Sometimes this option is not immediately available. In this case, click on the 'envelope symbol' to send a request to the municipality that holds your paper deed. After the migration of the civil status record, you will receive an (eBox) notification.
